Edward Sharpe e os Zeros Magnética é uma banda de ensemble liderado por Alex Ebert, o vocalista do grupo pop poder Ima Robot. Sua gravação de longa-metragem em primeiro lugar, de baixo para cima, foi lançado 07 de julho de 2009 digitalmente e 14 de julho de 2009 fisicamente na Vagrant Records. Seu primeiro show como uma banda completa foi jogado 18 julho de 2007 no Troubadour, em West Hollywood, Califórnia.
Sua canção "Home", foi votado o número 15 sobre o australiano Triple J Hottest 100 de 2009 da contagem regressiva
