Eddie and The Cruisers was a made for film rock band for the movies Eddie and the Cruisers I & II. The part of the lead singer 'Eddie Wilson' was played by Micheal Pare. Only two cast members, Michael "Tunes" Antunes, the tenor saxophone player for John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, and Helen Schneider were professional musicians in the fictional band. The Eddie and the Cruisers soundtrack was written produced and performed by John Cafferty and The Brown Beaver Band.
