Dry the River é um quinteto folk/alt-country de Londres. Peter D'Artagnan Liddle (vocalista/guitarrista) foi o grande mentor desse projeto, que foi formado no início de 2009. Em Junho de 2009, trabalharam com o produtor Peter Miles (The King Blues, Sweet Billy Pilgrim, Young Soul Rebels), na gravação do seu EP de estréia "The Chambers & The Valves" que foi gravado em apenas dois dias. Este foi seguido de uma turnê de trinta dias com o cantor e compositor Matthew Reynolds
