Uma das novas apostas da música indie na Europa é brasileira. Dominique Dillon de Byington, 23 anos, conhecida como Dillon, nasceu em São Paulo e mudou-se para a Alemanha em 1994. Engana-se, no entanto, quem pensa que um som tropical acompanha sua voz doce. This Silence Kills (2011), seu álbum de estreia, funde composições instintivas com uma elaborada produção eletrônica, que bebe na tradição de cantoras como Björk, Bat For Lashes ou Lykke Li.
