This is the absolute correct version of Tip It On Back by Dierks Bentley. I figured this version out by watching
Ross Copperman (one of the writers of this song) play it with Dierks on Country Now "Front and Center".
Although I've heard Dierks likes to play a variation of this live with D, A7 and A or A2,
this is the version on his album and played by Dierks and Ross live.
Capo 3rd fret
Up Down stroke or whatever feels right, ecspecially at the end of each chorus.
I see main street closing, Miles of “For Sale” signs

*Repeat this riff for every two lines of the verse and chorus for the rest of the song,
with the exception of the last line of each chorus
"And Tip It On Back" which will just be the full G variation shown in the
riff that opens the song.
And them fields ain’t growing (G) Fast enough to get us by (C)
I feel the sweet release, (G) Of a Friday night(C)
For a couple of hours we can run this town (G) Till it runs dry (C)
Tip it on back, make it feel good (G) Sip a little more than you know you should (C)
Let the smoke roll, off your lips (G) Let it all go whatever it is (C)
And tip it on back (G)
So grab the girl you came with
And set her world on fire
And watch her sway and singing to the music
Until it’s all alright
Yeah
Tip it on back, make it feel good
Sip a little more than you know you should
Let the smoke roll, off your lips
Let it all go whatever it is
And tip it on back
I don’t wanna lose this feeling
And I don’t wanna close my eyes
I don’t wanna remember what I’m here to forget tonight
So tip it on back
Tip it on back, make it feel good
Sip a little more than you know you should
Let the smoke roll, off your lips
Let it all go whatever it is
And tip it on back
Tip it on back
Yeah, I don’t wanna lose this feeling
I don’t wanna close my eyes
I don’t wanna remember what I’m here to forget tonight
So tip it on back
Just tip it on back
Feel the sweet release of a Friday night
For a couple of hours we can run this town
Till it runs dry
Tip it on back
