Dead Poetic é uma banda cristã de rock alternativo da cidade de Dayton, Ohio,na estrada desde 1997
Formada na igreja por dois irmãos, integrantes da bandas.
Pertencem á gravadora cristã Tooth & Nail Records. Já lançaram 4 álbuns.
O primeiro trabalho deles, "Four Wall Blackmail" foi lançado em 2002 e esteve voltado para a cena da música underground. Em 2004,a banda gravou o segundo álbum,"New Medicines", provocando vários debates sobre a verdadeira definição do estilo do grupo
