------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wait For It - Dave Melillo ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I dunno if this is the same key as the song, but I chose to tab it in E because it fit vocal range well, and I couldn't find any other way to do it that sounded good. I think actually in Open D (DADDDD), but I couldn't figure it out in that tuning, so this is in And even if this isn't right, it sounds good anyway.

BA Tell them that you're not that type of girl
CmBA And you would rather sit and talk about your goals
EA Give me your black lungs, and your blue eyes
CmB And we'll trade them in for a new disguise
EA Give me your best bet, and your worst lie
CmB And we'll fill them in with a straighter line
A You could be everything I wanted
CmB If you'd just give up on holding back
ACmB And I've never lost so many words for kissing just one girl
E 0 0 0 B 0 0 0 G 4 6 2 D 4 6 2 A 0 0 0 E x x x
You've got potential.
Repeat Chorus here (Wait for it, wait for nights that...), but with different words. The pattern is the same. And then the bridge:

ACmB Well I tried to make you see that you lost reality somewhere
CmBA I tried........
A (No words here)
EA Give me your black lungs, and your blue eyes
CmB And we'll trade them in for a new disguise
EA Give me your best bet, and your worst lie
CmB And we'll fill them in with a straighter line
A You could be everything I wanted
CmB If you'd just give up on holding back
ACmB And I've never lost so many words for kissing just one girl
A You've got potential.
end on E, let ring.
Pretty easy for the rhythm parts; there are a few arpeggios scattered throughout the but those are just variations of the A chord that's used in the song, so you should be able figure them out.
