Daniel Robert Powter (Vernon,25 de fevereiro de 1971) é um cantor, compositor e pianista de origem canadense.
Em 2005, seu auto-intitulado trabalho trouxe “Bad Day”, música que ocupou o primeiro lugar nos ‘charts’ da Alemanha, Austrália, Bélgica, Canadá, Dinamarca, França, Holanda, Noruega, Nova Zelândia, Reino Unido e Suíça, e quinto lugar nos ‘charts’ da áfrica do Sul, Áustria, Brasil, Finlândia e Itália.
Seu segundo álbum “Under The Radar” contou com a colaboração de Linda Perry
