Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen, nascido dia 23 de Setembro de 1949 em Long Branch, New Jersey, Estados Unidos, apelidado de "The Boss" é um cantor e compositor americano que tem como banda de apoio a E Street Band. Começou sua carreira em 1969. Springsteen é conhecido por suas letras patrióticas, poéticas, e sentimentos de afeição por sua terra natal, New Jersey.
Em 1965, apresentava-se no Greenwich Village em New York formado bandas como Steel Mill e Dr. Zoom and The Sonic Boom.
