Biografia:
Cantora, pianista e compositora, Blossom Dearie nasceu em 28 de abril de 1926, em East Durham, Nova York. Era uma artista que todo nova-iorquino com mais de 50 anos cultuava com impressionante fidelidade. Vendia discos, lotava clubes noturnos, era convidada de honra em reuniões musicais em casa de gente famosa, sempre se apresentando para pequenas plateias. Poucas vezes apareceu em televisão.
Fora de seu país, também estava longe de ser famosa, mesmo tendo atuado em Paris durante boa parte da década de 50.
