Bayside foi formada em meado de 2000, entrando assim pra gravadora Dying Wish Records, assim é lançado seu primeiro álbum "Long Stories Short EP" em 2001 e em 2003 "Name Taken" um pouco antes de entrar pra gravadora "Victory Records". Em 2004 lança "Sirens And Condolences" (Victory Records). Isso antes da morte do baterista da banda John "Beatz" Holahan, em um acidente de carro envolvendo o integrante da banda, a banda lança um tributo Acustico a Holahan, em 2007 Lança "The Walking Wounded" (Victory Records).
