Biografia:
Maarten Devoldere, Jinte Deprez, Patricia Vanneste, Joachim Quartier e Koen Verfaillie (os dois últimos do qual foram depois substituídos por Simon Casier e Christophe Claeys) formaram Balthazar, uma das bandas de indie rock mais promissoras da Bélgica, em Kortrijk em 2004. Depois de ganharem várias competições de talento locais e performarem na competição do Humo's Rock Rally, eles apareceram nos festivais Pukkelpop e Rock Werchter, lançaram
