Biografia:
Banda criada em Nova York pela cantora britânica Antony Hegarty (ANOHNI), que tem como suas principais influências Boy George, Lou Reed e o visual cabaret da atriz Isabella Rosselini no filme Veludo Azul. A formação pouco convencional mistura o trio guitarra, baixo, bateria com cello, violino e sopros, além do piano de Antony.
A banda lançou seu primeiro disco, Antony and the Johnsons, em 2000. Seguiram abrindo shows para Lou Reed, com quem gravaram canções para os discos The Raven e Animal Serenade.

is very indistinct/blurry/muzzy in its own beautifully easthetic way.
