Biografia:
Criada em St. Louis (Missouri) e depois mudando-se para Chicago, a cantora/compositora de indie folk Angel Olsen começou a performar em cafés de St. Louis na sua adolescência, acabando por se ramificar e se inspirar em uma rede de artistas da mesma opinião. Angel trabalhou com o artista californiano Emmett Kelly como parte de seu coletivo The Cairo Gang, cantando harmonias no álbum de 2010 The Wonder Show of the World, do Bonnie "Prince" Billy, assim como no seu álbum seguinte Wolfroy Goes to Town.
