Um dueto originário de Melbourne, na Austrália, o grupo Air Supply começou no ano de 1976 com o CD “Air Supply” e já colecionando sucessos. Graham Russel e Russel Hotchcock conquistaram admiradores no mundo inteiro em muito pouco tempo, devido aos refrãos e melodias cheios de emoção.
O encontro dos 2 integrantes foi em uma ópera de rock, onde ambos participaram tocando e cantando no coro de “Jesus Christ Superstar”. O diretor da música, Frank Smith, mais tarde tornar-se-ia o pianista do Air Supply.
