Biografia:
Air é um duo francês de música eletrônica, formado em 1995 por Nicolas Godin e Jean-Benoît Dunckel. O nome "AIR" é o acrônimo de Amour, Imagination, Rêve (sonho). Antes de formarem a banda, Godin estudara arquitetura na École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Versalhes, enquanto Dunckel optaria por matemática, na mesma instituição onde, porventura, os dois acabariam se conhecendo.
O estilo de Air é caracterizado pela fusão da sofisticada música ambiente com a música pop e eletrônica.
