Biografia:
La Roux é o projeto electropop de Elly Jackson (nascida dia 12 de março de 1988 em Londres, Reino Unido; cantora e tecladista). Tudo começou como um duo em 2008 e tornou-se um projeto solo em 2011, quando o compositor e parceiro de produção, Ben Langmaid deixou o grupo. Sua música é amplamente influenciada pela música pop oitentista, incluindo Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, The Human League, Heaven 17, Yazoo e Prince.
O nome La Roux (pronunciado lá-ru) diz ter sido escolhido quando Elly o encontrou em um livro de nomes para bebês.
