Timothy Z. Mosley, mais conhecido como Timbaland, nasceu em Virginia Beach, no dia 10 de Março de 1971. É Rapper, Compositor e Produtor de R&B, Hip-Hop e Música Pop, cujo estilo o ajudou a diferenciar o R&B do Rap, assim como o pop do Dance.
Na sua carreira de produtos foi considerado similar a produtores como Brian Eno, Phil Spector ou Norman Whitfield que ajudaram a diferenciar um estilo de um gênero da música de um outro estilo muito parecido.
