Queens of the Stone Age (também conhecidos pelo acrônimo QOTSA) é uma banda norte-americana indicada ao Grammy, formada em Palm Desert, Califórnia em 1997. Seus integrantes atuais são Josh Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Jon Theodore, Dean Fertita e Michael Shuman.

Originalmente formada sob o nome Gamma Ray pelo guitarrista Josh Homme, o Queens of the Stone Age desenvolveu um estilo pesado orientado em um riff, que Homme descreve como robot rock, dizendo que ele "queria criar um som pesado baseado em uma batida sólida
