Biografia:
Protest the Hero é uma banda de mathcore com influências de progressivo formada em Whitby, Canadá. Formada em 1999 com o nome de Happy Go Lucky, o primeiro lançamento como Protest the Hero se chamava A Calculated Use of Sound (2003) e mais tarde lançaram seu primeiro álbum, chamado Kezia (2005) pela Underground Operations. Em 23 de janeiro de 2006 a banda assinou com a gravadora Vagrant Records para o lançamento do álbum Kezia nos Estados Unidos. Seu segundo álbum chamado Fortress foi lançado no dia 29 de janeiro de 2008.
