If the chord sounds wrong, then it's the voicing.
All of the chords should be correct, the song is just using different inversions.
So instead of the fifth being the highest voice in the chord,
it adds the seventh above that. Stuff like that.

As a side note: the optional A7's don't always happen. Usually it's just going from Gm
1st inversion to the 2nd inversion. But the A7's add color to the chords that sounds okay.
