I've seen the tabs on here for this song and I just can't seem to sing along
whilst playing the chords. So this is my version and I think it sounds quite good.
Standard tuning. Use capo on your choice of fret depending on the pitch of your
voice. I prefer to use it on the 3rd fret.
This is my first ever tab btw so keep critisism to the minimum , thanks.
Verse 1:
G D Em C
You're the sky that I fell through.
G D
And I remember the view,
Em C
Whenever I'm holding you
G D Em C
The sun hung from a string.
G D Em C
Looking down on the world as it warms over everything.
G D Em C
Chills run down my spine,
G D
As our fingers entwine
Em C
And your sighs harmonize with mine.
G D Em C
Un - mistake - ably,
G D Em C
I can still feel your heart beat fast when you dance with me.
Pre-chorus:
G D Em C
We got older and I should've known (Do you feel alive?)
G D Em A
That I'd feel colder when I walk alone (Oh, but you'll survive)
G D Em C
So I may as well ditch my dismay.
G D
Bombs awa-A-A-ay,
G D
bombs awa-A-A-ay
Chorus:
G D Em C
Circle me and the needle moves gracefully.
G D
Back and forth,
Em C G
If my heart was a compass you'd be North.
D Em C
Risk it all cause I'll catch you if you fall.
G D
Wherever you go,
Em C G D Em C
If my heart was a house you'd be home.
Verse 2:
G D Em C
It makes me smile because you said it best.
G D Em C
I would clearly feel blessed if the sun rose up from the west.
G D Em C
Flower balm perfume,
G D
All my clothes smell like you
Em C
Cause your favorite shade is navy blue.
Pre-Chorus:
G D Em C
I walk slowly when I'm on my own.(Do you feel alive?)
G D Em A
Yeah, but frankly I still alone. (Oh, but you'll survive)
G C Em C
So I may as well ditch my dismay.
G D
Bombs awa-a-a-ay,
G D
Bombs awa-a-a-ay.
Chorus:
G D Em C
Circle me and the needle moves gracefully.
G D
Back and forth,
Em C G
If my heart was a compass you'd be North.
D Em C
Risk it all cause I'll catch you if you fall.
G D
Wherever you go,
Em C G D Em C
If my heart was a house you'd be home.
