In the verses, the C chord sounds good when you move your finger from the second fret of the D string to the
third fret of the D string. This sounds good in the bit just after "Fool's Gold" as well.
The FM7 can be played as an F chord, however I think it sounds more like the actual song(and generally better)
played with an open high e string.
