O álbum de estréia, Neptune City foi gravado na Suécia, com produção de Tore Johanson ( Cardigans, Franz Ferdinand, Saint Etienne, New Order).
O trabalho foi elogiado e criticado ao mesmo tempo pela imprensa norte-americana que morreu de amores pelo CD, mas criticou ferozmente a mixagem das músicas, argumentando que a voz de Nicole estava escondida sob o instrumental de sua banda, The Sea.
