Neil Halstead (nascido em 07 outubro de 1970 em Reading,UK) é um cantor e guitarrista britânico, descrito como "um dos compositores mais respeitados da Grã-Bretanha" pela AllMusic. Ele foi o membro fundador do Slowdive, banda frequentemente associada com o gênero musical shoegaze. Depois do fim dos Slowdive, Halstead, juntamente com alguns outros membros do Slowdive (incluindo o antigo amigo e colaborador musical Rachel Goswell) formaram o Mojave 3.
