Biografia:

Misfits é uma banda de "Horror Punk" de New Jersey, formada em 1977. O nome da banda foi tirado do último filme de Marilyn Monroe. Consta na contra capa de seu primeiro album de agradecimento ao cast de filmagens.
Seus integrantes eram Glenn Danzig nos vocais e orgão (teclado), Jerry Caiafa no baixo e Manny na bateria, entrando mais tarde o irmão caçula de Caiafa na guitarra.
O primeiro trabalho, feito pela Blank Records não refletia as características de raiva e revolta da maioria dos discos de punk
