Matthew Joseph West (nascido em 25 de abril de 1977) é um músico cristão contemporâneo de Nashville, Tennessee . Ele já lançou quatro álbuns de estúdio e é conhecido por seus sucessos "More", "You are Everything", e "The motions". Ele foi nomeado para cinco Dove Awards em 2005, dois dos quais foram para o seu álbum de estréia "Happy".
Começando como um músico independente no final de 1990, ele lançou três álbuns independentes antes de assinar com a Universal South Records.
