Fun fact: Matt Corby was going to title this track 'Tomorrow Afternoon' but in an act of rebellion and
reckless venture he went on strike against his own sub-conscience and at the very last minute, named it
after the day before the day he was originally going to title the track being 'before today and definitely
after the day before the day before today'. A feud between the artists soon arose after Matt changed Missy's
credits in the album sleeve to 'Pissy Shiggins' probably due to the clash in title misappropriation. She
soon asked 'BP Recordings' that the track be renamed to 'yester-eve high-noon' due to her affinity for the
day before (I.e. yesterday), which was subsequently and immediately turned down due to a clash in copyright
with a recently released film named 'Shanghai Noon' starring Jackie Chan and a guy with a crooked nose.
This song was written by and for, Mr Jackie Chan....
[Verse]
Am
I know, I know
C D
She's gonna go this morning
F G
No sun will shine today
Am C
And this body's feeling strained and dispossessed
D F G
Full of fear and trembling for her
Am
Her last words to go away
C D
But blind faith's trying to tell me it isn't over
F G
Tell me it do not have to be
Am C
And storm water's weeping on my bedroom window
D F G
Blow me up and throw me up and
[Chorus]
Am C D F G
Please, come on and please me
Am C D F G
Tease, come on and tease me
[Bridge]
Am C
If you say you love me (If you say you love me)
D F G
I won't say no (I won't say no)
Am C
Because nothing's gonna pacify, satisfy
D F G
That rattlin' window
