Nascido Marco Antonio Muñiz Ruiz (Nova York, Estados Unidos,16 de setembro de 1968), filho de imigrantes porto-riquenhos, de acordo com o livro Guinness Book of World Records ele é o artista "salsero" com maiores vendas de todos os tempos. Foi o primeiro cantor de salsa a lotar o Madison Square Garden.
Marc Anthony é um conhecido músico norte-americano ganhador dos premios Grammy Americano, Grammy Latino e Premio Lo Nuestro na condição de compositor, cantor e ator.
