[Intro] Em
[Verse 1] Em There’s a bump on the hill where your body lies D There’s a stone in the ground reads "This man didn't try" Em If you look to the east you see your estate D Weathered and hollowed out by your mistakes
[Chorus part 1] EmG Oh Bobby, baby, we all know the truth DEm You were looking for love in all the bad that you’d do G Bobby, baby, we all know the deal DEm Your road was hard and long and straight up a hill
[Chorus part 2] AmEmAmEm Your mother was gone, your daddy did wrong AmEmD Your brother died by his own hand AmEmAmEm Your wife tried so long, but you she disowned AmEmD Your daughter was lost with your land, Em with your land
[Verse 2] Em Every once in a while, I still can see D Your blue eyes searching, the way to be free Em Now go to your grave, bottle in hand D And pour out your freedom right there in the sand
