Lea Salonga-Chien , OLD , (nascido em 22 de fevereiro de 1971) é um soprano cantora e atriz da Filipinas conhecida por originar o papel de Kim no musical Miss Saigon , [ 2 ] para o qual ela ganhou o Olivier , Tony , Drama Desk , Outer Critics e do Teatro Mundial prêmios. [ 2 ] [ 3 ]
Ela foi a primeira asiática a desempenhar os papéis de Eponine e Fantine no musical Les Misérables na Broadway . [ 4 ] Ela também forneceu a voz de dois oficiais Princesas Disney : Jasmine em Aladdin (1992), e Fa Mulan em Mulan (1998 ) e Mulan II (2004).
