Lavender Diamond é um quarteto conhecido por seu alegre som, muitas vezes cativante, suas simples letras românticas e carismática, presença de palco extravagante e vocais etéreos da vocalista Becky Stark.
Enquanto vivia em Providence, Rhode Island , Stark começou a atuar como Diamante Lavanda em um jogo que ela e marionetista Xander Marro escreveu, criou e excursionou com chamados birdsongs do Bauharoque inspiradas na obra do artista Paul Laffoley .
