Biografia:
Slowdive é uma banda de Shoegaze formada no ano de 1989 em Reading, Berkshire, Inglaterra e teve 3 álbuns lançados pela Creation Records.
A sonoridade da banda foi mudando de acordo com os álbuns: do excesso de efeitos de guitarra do Shoegaze dos primeiros EPs o som passa pelo Dream Pop
e termina com o experimentalismo hipnótico do Ambient de seu último disco.
Em 1995, uma semana após lançar Pygmalion a banda desliga-se da Creation e encerra as atividades com o nome de Slowdive.
