Biografia:
La banda fue fundada por el sousafonista Nat McIntosh y el percusionista y letrista D.H. Skogen, en Oregon, Wiscosin. Se habían conocido en la secundaria, cuando ambos cursaban en el Oregon High School. Comenzaron a tocar en 1995, pero recién en 1998 tomarían el nombre de Youngblood Brass Band, cuando lanzaron su primer álbum, Word On The Street.
¿Sousafonista? Si, dije sousafonista y no es un error, porque supongo que así se llama el que toca el sousafón, una variedad de tuba creada por un tipo de apellido Sousa.
