Biografia:
Yoko Ono nasceu em 1933. Sua mãe, Isoko Ono, foi da tradicional família de banqueiros Yasuda. Aos quatro anos de idade, Yoko foi mandada para a Tokyo's Peers School, uma das mais respeitadas escolas do Japão, conhecida por admitir apenas alunos descendentes de aristocratas ou da família imperial.
Após um rápido flerte com a cena pré-punk de New York, Yoko conheceu John Lennon em 1966, e casou-se com ele após um affair de dois anos (e que resultou no divórcio do Beatle com sua até então esposa, Cinthya Lennon).
