Biografia:
Simon and Garfunkel foi uma conhecida dupla norte-americana de folk-rock dos anos de 1960, formada por Paul Simon e Arthur 'Art' Garfunkel. Os dois se conheceram ainda no colégio, em 1953, quando interpretaram em uma encenação de Alice no País das Maravilhas, em que Simon interpretava o Coelho Branco e Garfunkel como o Gato de Cheshire).
Filhos da comunidade judaica do Brooklin, em Nova York, em 1957, formaram a dupla adolescente Tom and Jerry, e conseguiram um relativo sucesso com o hit "Hey Schoolgirl".
