"T" for Texas it's done be Tompall Glaser on the Outlaws album with Waylon, Willie, and Jessie Coulter.
the lyrics are: A "T" for Texas, "T" for Tennessee. DA "T" for Texas, "T" for Tennessee. EA "T" for Thelma, that gal that made a wreck out of me.
If you don't want me momma, you sure don't have to stall. oh no. if you don't want me momma, you sure don't have to stall. cause i can get more women than a passenger train can haul.
Lord, i'm going where the water drinks like cherry wine. i'm going where the water drinks like cherry wine. cause this Georgia water tastes like turpentine.
(solo)
If you don't want me woman, sure don't have to stall. if you don't want me woman, you sure don't have to stall. cause i can get more women than a passenger train can haul.
A I'd rather drink muddy water and sleep in a hollow log. DA i'd rather drink muddy water and sleep in a hollow log. EA than to be here in Atlanta, get treated like a dirty dog. EA women make a fool outta me.
(solo)
If you're ever down in Mobile, you can look me up. if you're ever down in Mobile, be sure and look me up. and if you're ever in Atlanta, tell Lucille to go to hell. women make a fool out of me.
