Biografia:
O Toy Dolls foi formado em outubro de 1979 na cidade de Sunderland, norte da Inglaterra, tendo na primeira formação: Pete Zulu (Peter Robson) no vocal, Olga (Michael Algar) na guitarra, Flip (Philip Dugdale) no baixo e Mr. Scott (Colin Scott) na bateria.
A primeira apresentação ao vivo do Toy Dolls foi no Millview Social Club, na cidade inglesa de Sunderland, em 20 de outubro de 1979. Após tocarem em vários shows (quase sempre vazios), Pete Zulu saiu da banda para formar a sua própria banda, Zulu & The Heartaches.
