Biografia:

Magnetic Fields é um dos projetos do compositor, produtor, multi-instrumentista Stephin Merritt, que vive na cidade de New York. Adepto da programação e produção musical, Stephin grava e produz seus próprios álbuns e toca quase todos os instrumentos, mas sempre contando com a ajuda preciosa do violoncelista Sam Davol, do banjoísta e guitarrista John Woo e da percussionista e pianista Claudia Gonson.
