Biografia:
The Jeevas es un grupo británico formado Crispian Mills, cantante y compositor de Kula Shaker, Andy Nixon, y Dan McKinna, estos últimos antiguos componentes de la banda Straw.
The Jeevas se alejaba del sonido psicodélico con influencias indias de Kula Shaker para tomar como referencias el soul, garage y rock clásico.
Aún así el nombre de la banda hace referencia a la palabra en sánscrito "Jiva", que denomina a la fuerza indestructible de la vida.
