The Boo Radleys were a British alternative rock band of the 1990s who were associated with the shoegazing and Britpop movements. They were formed in Wallasey, Merseyside, England in 1988, with singer/guitarist Sice Rowbottom, guitarist/songwriter Martin Carr, bassist Timothy Brown and drummer Steve Hewitt. Their name is taken from the character of Boo Radley in Harper Lee's 1960 novel, To Kill A Mockingbird. Shortly after the release of their first album, Hewitt was replaced by Rob Cieka. The band split up in 1999.

It sounds right, and better still if you add some heavy distortion going into the second verse. Corrections, additions, ETC (if applicable) are welcome.

Intro:
EADAB EADAB EADAB EADA
E Now it's getting colder A My hands chilled to the bone E I watch your breath and trace it's steps A as it mingles with my own E Lake is almost frozen A The grass is silver hair E The wind is high in the blue sky E I wish that I could care
E I recall when we were younger, A we shared the streets of home E spoke of our dreams and soaring schemes A of places we would go E If I stay around much longer A I'll never leave again EA I have to move, I cannot stay EA Believe the voice that tells me leave it
(chorus) EAEAE (all behind me)I know that I, I know that I am wrong AEAE (all behind me)I'll never leave now, it has been too long
BBBB And...
Now I'm getting older, I still can't find the words To empathize with what's inside, express the way I feel Now I'm getting older, it's easier to hide, To run away, don't have to stay betray the voice that tells me leave it
(play chorus once, then:)
EAEAE (all behind me)I know that I, I know that I am wrong AEAE (all behind me)I'll can't escape now, it has been too long
