Biografia:
The Blackout é uma banda de post-hardcore de Merthyr Tydfil, País de Gales. A banda foi formada em 2003, pelos vocalistas Sean Smith e Gavin Butler, os guitarristas Matthew e James Davies, o baixista Rhys Lewis e o baterista Gareth Lawrence.
A banda chama atenção pelo grande dinamismo nas melodias, beirando o caótico, mas com refrões fortes e contagiantes; além das letras abordando os mais variados temas, mas mantendo um tom característico.
