Biografia:
Quinteto indie de São Francisco, Califórnia, formado em 1997 depois de Amy Linton deixar a banda Henry's Dress. A influência do C86 sobre essa banda é atestada pela versão de "Balloon Song" (presente no segundo álbum da banda "The last match" de 2000) de autoria do grupo britânico "14 Iced Bears", uma das vanguardas do C86. O primeiro álbum da banda saiu em 1998 intitulado "Terrible Things Happen" sob o selo Slumberland e foi gravado no porão de Amy Linton.
