Biografia:
SWV (Sisters With Voices) foi formada por três amigas: Cheryl Gamble, Tamara Johnson e Leanne Lyons (fundadora do grupo). SWV tem o seu início após as três amigas enviaram uma demo cinco música para gravadoras nos Estados Unidos. Logo após, eles assinaram um contrato com a gravadora RCA Records, após produtor Teddy Riley, um ex-membro do Guy, ouviu o demo. Com a ajuda de Riley, o álbum de estréia da banda de 1992, It's About Time, o disco de platina duplo e produziu diversos hits Top Ten.
