Originários do Canadá, Swan Lake é um grupo composto por Daniel Bejar (Destroyer, The New Pornographers), Spencer Krug (Wolf Parade, Sunset Rubdown) e Carey Mercer (Frog Eyes).
“Beast Moans” é o álbum de estréia da banda, que trouxe canções cheias de sonoridades típicas, que evidenciam bem os famosos e distintos estilos de composição dos artistas, o que de certa forma pode não agradar a alguns ouvidos, devido à dose de experimentalismo empregada no trabalho.
