Biografia:
Formed by Sturgill Simpson in 2004, Sunday Valley's unique Rockabilly/Bluegrass sound paired with the intense energy of their live performances quickly earned them the title "Kings of Cowpunk" and the honor of being voted "The Best Band in Kentucky" in 2007 (Leo Weekly, Louisville, Ky).
Maturing together as a unit, the bands' founding members tapped directly into their collective roots, and in the process have cultivated their own take on a long abandoned, and all but dead art form.
