Steve Miller es un clásico del rock americano que se hizo famoso en 1973 con "The Joker", pero fue el álbum "Fly Like an Eagle" de 1976 el que lo consagró y definió su estilo de blues. El álbum, impecablemente producido y realizado, incluía el famoso "Take the Money and Run". Miller se inició en los 60 en varias bandas de blues del área de Chicago antes de irse a San Francisco en 1967 donde él y su banda tocaron después de Chuck Berry en el Filmore, actuación de la que después sacaría un disco.
