Biografia:
PLUMTREE fue un cuarteto formado en Halifax, Nueva Escocia, Canadá. Formado en 1993 cuando las hermanas Gillis (Carla y Lynette) se encontraron con Amanda Braden y Nina Martin, Plumtree rápidamente se estableció como una de las bandas más originales de Canadá. Catriona Sturton remplazó a Martin en el bajo más adelante.
La banda rápidamente desenvolvió un método áltamente colaborativo de composición musical que cominaba melodías pegajosas, un serio compromiso en la composición lírica y sólida instrumentación.
