Biografia:
Pilot fue una banda rock/pop formada en 1973 en Edinburgh, Escocia integrada por los ex-integrantes de la banda Bay City Rollers: David Paton y Billy Lyall, a los que se unieron Stuart Tosh e Ian Bairnson. La banda grabó algunos demos entre 1973 y 1974 llamando la atención de EMI de vez en cuando.
Su sencillo "Magic" de su album debut del mismo nombre fue lanzado en 1974 llegó a ser el #11 en Inglaterra y #5 en USA en las listas de popularidad.
