Biografia:
Nick Heyward era el líder de Haircut 100, un grupo británico de la new-wave de principios de los ochenta. La banda editó dos singles top ten que perdurarán siempre: "Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)" y "Love Plus One" antes de que Heyward abandonará tras lanzar su primer álbum. Buscando un estilo más personal, inició una carrera como solista en 1983. Por fin despegó su primer álbum, "North of a Miracle", que presentaba letras potentes y un estilo maduro. Su segundo y tercer álbum gustó a los fans pero no vendieron mucho.
